An in-person, six-week grief circle

Grace in the Grief

You don't have to find the right words for your grief. You don't have to carry it alone.

When someone we love dies, the world keeps moving even as our own world has changed. This small circle offers a place to pause, be heard, and find companionship on a path that looks different for each of us.

A place to be human

There is no one way to grieve.

Some days you may feel sadness. Other days, gratitude, anger, relief, laughter, numbness, or all of it at once. You can love the life you shared and ache for what is gone. Both truths belong.

Here, you can come as you are. Nothing needs to be fixed before you walk through the door.

What we'll make room for

Six weeks of honest conversation and gentle support

Your own grief

Space to speak about your loss, or simply listen when words are hard to find.

Life after loss

Explore how grief moves through everyday life, relationships, memories, and the approaching holidays.

Connection

Gather with others who understand that grief has no set timeline and no single path.

The invitation

Is this circle for you?

This group is for adults grieving the death of someone meaningful in their lives. Your loss may be recent or years ago. You are welcome whether grief feels close to the surface or has been quietly accompanying you for a long time.

You may share as much or as little as feels right. We will practice listening with care and honoring each person's experience.

Meet Barb

I'm Barb Brown, a counselor and creative depth coach. For more than 20 years, I've supported people through grief, trauma, and life's difficult transitions. I also know grief as a human being, not only through my work.

I created Grace in the Grief as a place where we can tell the truth about loss and still make room for love, connection, and moments of grace.

This circle offers group support and reflection. It is not a substitute for individual therapy or crisis care.

A few questions

Before you come

Do I have to talk every week?

No. You are welcome to listen, and you can choose what you share. Being present is enough.

Does it matter when my loss happened?

No. There is no deadline for grief. You are welcome whether your loss is recent or long past.

What if I need more support?

Some people benefit from individual counseling alongside a group. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis service for immediate help.
