Christmas Snow
The snow falls gently, soft and light,
A quiet hymn of this sacred night.
Each flake a whisper, a tender trace,
Of the love you shared and your endless grace.
I walk through this day, the world below,
My heart remembers as I watch the snow.
The way it blankets the earth in white,
Feels like your arms, holding me tight.
The years have stretched to twenty-four,
Yet I still long to see you once more.
Your softness, your kindness, your radiant smile,
The warmth that made every moment worthwhile.
I think of the Christmases we used to share,
The magic, the wonder, the love in the air.
Now all I have are memories dear,
And the ache of wishing you were still here.
But the snow reminds me, as it continues to blow,
That love transcends both time and woe.
Its quiet beauty, its soft embrace,
Carries your spirit, your infinite grace.
Tonight, I send you all my love,
Across the sky, through stars above.
Mom, you’re missed, but still I know,
You’re with me always, like the Christmas snow.
